Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff
Looks like our friend here could not help from sweating the small stuff!
Sweating the small stuff or worrying about the small daily concerns in life takes our energy and focus away from whats really important. Worrying about small things which doesn’t affect our lives or the lives of those we love adds unnecessary stress. When we stop sweating the small stuff we are able to think clearer and expend more energy into what really matters to us.
Examples of sweating the small stuff:
-Burger King forgot to put mayo on your Whopper, and boy are you mad.
-An angry drive gives you the finger- you invite the driver to pull over for a talk.
-You get a flat tire- you call your tire names I can’t write here.
-Your boss forgot to add you to the email list- you write a “matter of fact” email to your boss.
-Your date is 5 minutes late- you call them, cancel the date and any future dates because they disrespected you by being late.
-You gain 5 pounds- you cry your life is over and will never be as it was before.
-Your waitress forgot your creamer- what a shame you ask to speak to manager.
-Someone doesn’t like you- you wonder what you did.
-You have been told “No” – you give up.
-You have a bad hair day -you don’t leave the house and you call off work
Instead of fussing over small things like the one’s above and like our friend Buddy in the picture. Lets focus on that which makes our life better.
