It’s Levels to being “a Boss”- Where are You?

Most of us have been referred to as being “a Boss” one time or another and we embraced the compliment with a smile.  Being call a Boss felt good and who wouldn’t want to be a Boss anyway. But we know deep down inside when it comes to being a real everyday boss- It takes Work. Being a Boss signifies success and who doesn’t want to be successful.

There are hundreds of definitions to what a Boss is and perhaps you have heard arguments of who’s a Boss and Who’s not. To Limit the controversy, I have taken it upon myself to outline the Levels to being “A Boss”.  First understand that anyone can be a Boss; but to actually be a “Level 1 Boss”, takes time, effort, dedication, perseverance, ambition, motivation, self-love, independence, leadership and confidence. A Level 1 Boss never stops grinding  for their passion, they grind in their sleep.

SO – WHERE ARE YOU?

Level 4

Level 4 bosses are individuals who will tell you they have 20 pairs of gym shoes or 6 pairs of stilettos but don’t have a means to an income. They  drive a really sweet vehicle but live in low income or subsidized housing. Level 4 bosses are not yet financially responsible.  If you see them in a crown they often camouflage as  level 1 Bosses.  They  look good on the outside but are not so pretty on the inside. They have not yet learned that their authentic self is their most beautiful self. They haven’t  found out just yet what their Gifts,  Passions or  “Life Missions” are. They have had successes in life but don’t yet believe they deserve Level 1 Boss status. Level 4 Bosses are on the move UP!

Level 3

Level 3 bosses are individuals who have found out who they are and now know what they want out of  life. These Bosses are taking steps daily to improve their current circumstances. These individuals are  in the “Life Changing” stage. They have evaluated their life and found that in order to progress change is necessary -So they put in the work to change their circumstances- they grind hard. When you see  a Level 3 Boss you notice them not because of their  outward beauty but because of their inter beauty  – their grind. They know what they want and aren’t afraid to go get it. Level 3 Bosses are on the move UP!

Level 2

Level 2 bosses are individuals who had at one time owned Level 1 Boss status but due to life’s happenings fell off. They are  Grinders- who look for opportunities to improve their life everyday all day long. These are the individual who are able to walk away from everything and build themselves back up from nothing. Level 2 bosses are hard workers,  credit managers and have a good knowledge on the value of money and how to use it. They understand Universal  Balance. When they focus on a goal they are not easily distracted. These individuals are confident and despite feeling afraid continue to charge ahead.  Level 2 Bosses are on the move UP!

Level 1: Real Boss Status!

Level 1 Boss: These individuals have Entrepreneur Spirits, are Risk Takers,  Optimistic Thinkers, and Natural Leaders. They usually have plenty of Money in the bank  and stack money everyday even in their sleep- if they choose. They know what their passions and gifts are and have learnt to monetize on them. They have learnt through struggle and hard work that failure is not an option. Level 1 Bosses best qualities are being able to persevere through difficult times, hold their heads up in times of embarrassment, and maintain faith in times of hopelessness.

5 Steps To A Better Credit Report

When was the last time you ordered your credit report? I definitely have to do a better job with monitoring mine. I’ve spoken with lots of people who say “my credit is bad”. I ask them how do they know this and they say something like “ I’ve tried to get an apartment, car and/or loan and was denied because I have bad credit”.  Most had not seen their credit reports in more than a year.  In most cases after ordering your credit report and seeing whats there you can start to build a solid financial plan. A family member once told me her credit was bad because she was never given an opportunity to establish credit. She went on to say “having no credit is the same as bad credit”.  I suggested she start from the beginning by ordering her credit report to find what was causing her to have bad credit. After ordering the credit report she found that it wasn’t as bad as she previously thought. She took step to remove inaccuracies  and incorrect entries.  The point here is you need to know whats on your report regardless of what someone tell you. It doesn’t matter  if you want to clean your credit report up, get a  personal loan, car or better job. Credit can be considered a lifeline and foundation of your financial stability. Fight Panic Attacks and Anxiety

Yesterday a good friend called me, she was breathing fast, crying and kept asking what was going on with her. She went to the emergency department because she felt like she was having a heart attack. She reported sweating, racing heart, not being able to catch her breath, and felt as if she was going to faint. I could hear the fear in her voice between her heavy breathes. My goal was to assured her that she was going to be fine. I ask her to slow her breathes by exhaling in and out at a slower pace. She made it the the emergency department safely and I asked her to call me as soon as she was told what was going on. My good friend called me back hours later and stated that her heart is fine. She was not having a heart attack after all but was having a panic attack. I was happy to hear that my friend is physically well. My dear friend is now afraid that she will have another attack as she never wants to relive that traumatic experience. Continue reading “Fight Panic Attacks and Anxiety”

How Humble are You

Do you practice humility?

mother-teresa-quote-humility.jpg

I really feel that humility is a gift that few people process. Therefore the act of humility has to be sought out, desired and practiced. Most of us have life experiences which has taught us not to be too caring an giving. God forbid if we are taken advantage of. Today more and more children are taught to live lives which are the opposite of humility. We have turned into a cold, mean and selfish society. We live in a dangerous world in which vulnerability is the last thing we want to be. Today its popular to be hungry- hungry for fast money, hungry for relationships, hungry for attention and hungry for fame. Continue reading “How Humble are You”

What is Your Life’s Mission

I recently re-worded my life’s mission statement as I felt my recent experiences had given me a cause to refocused my life. In March and April of this year I loss my cat of 18 years and my brother. The loss of my cat in March was painful, in April when I loss my brother I felt numbed, all It seemed I could do was try to burry the pain and push on. My goal were to make it through the pain with as little damage to my emotions and heart as possible. We all have times in life when we are knocked off our square. A life or personal mission statement is helpful during these times with realigning us back up with our life’s purpose. It doesn’t matter if it takes 1 week or 1 year to realign, the most important thing is having a mission to realign to. If we have no plan and goal to realign with, we could be left going around in circles, loss about what our purpose in life is.When I re-wrote my mission statement, I felt revitalized, although it was reworded slightly it has given me a new guide and map to living my purposeful life”.
